Treat it kindly.

How to keep your custom merch looking new. The short version: cold wash inside out, no softener, low or no heat, no dry cleaning.

Every item

  • Wash cold, inside out, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent

  • Skip bleach and fabric softener. Both break down prints and stitching.

  • Keep decorated items out of loads with rough fabrics like denim or heavy canvas

  • Air dry: lay flat or hang, out of direct sunlight. If you use a dryer, choose the lowest heat and take items out as soon as they are dry.

  • Skip the dry cleaner. The chemicals degrade adhesives and decoration.

Printed designs

  • Give new prints 48 hours before their first wash. The adhesive is still bonding to the fabric.

  • Never iron directly on the print. Turn the garment inside out, use low heat with no steam, keep the iron moving, and use a pressing cloth.

  • Let the garment cool completely before wearing or washing.

Embroidery

  • Wash cold and inside out, same as above

  • If a thread snags, do not pull it. Trim it carefully, or send us a photo and we will help.

  • Iron around the stitching, not over it, or use a pressing cloth.

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight. Sun and humidity fade prints and weaken adhesives over time.
